Trigonometry Learning Outcomes
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon completion of Trigonometry,
1. Students will be able to apply radian and degree angle measures used in trigonometry.
2. Students will be able to solve right triangles using trigonometric functions, the Pythagorean Theorem, and facts about angles of right triangles.
3. Students will be able to solve non-right triangles using the Law of Cosines and the Law of Sines.
4. Students will be able to graph and interpret the graphs of the six trigonometric functions.
5. Students will be able to simplify and prove simple trigonometric identities.
6. Students will be able to solve trigonometric equations.
7. Students will be able to solve basic word or application problems using trigonometric functions and concepts.
